Hello , my name is DeQuan but most people call me DQ
I currently work as the Director of Market Operations for a family-owned bakery as well as a freelance actor, dancer, model on stage and screen. I have enjoyed a fulfilling life of creating art and telling stories through my love of self-expression and performing. I am now ready to nurture my love of technology and make the pivot to software engineering.
I am currently studying at Kenzie Academy in the Software Engineering Program. I will be graduating with a Full Stack Developer Certification on April 23, 2021 and I am eager and excited to begin using my skills and talents in the workforce as a valuable member of a team.
I enjoy working hands on with people to help meet their needs with innovative solutions. My backgrounds in hospitality and entertainment have given me lots of experience in curating custom experiences for clients and making sure that I deliver quality products and services.
